☄ 009; [video/action]

[Normal people might be staying inside in this weather. In fact, it would be wise of them to do so.]

[The Doctor, however, is neither normal nor 'people', strictly speaking. So one might find him just outside Violet today, catching every single Pidgey he happens to see. And doing so with a huge grin on his face.]

[His Abra, looking about as annoyed as an Abra possibly can, pokes his head into the frame as if to ask what in Arceus's name is going on.]

[He's watching. Why just pidgey? There are more interesting pokemon. Abra can have a conversation with Sparky if he wants.]

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Why indeed, Roxas. And after catching yet another one with his Sandshrew's help, the Doctor finally turned around and noticed someone else standing there.]

Oh, hello. What're you doing out here?

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
[ooc: sorry, should have mentioned it was video, cause Roxas is in Goldenrod. My mistake.]

Why are you just catching pidgey?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Whoops, happens to the best of us. <3]

[He picked up the Pokegear, a smile on his face.]

Telling you that would just spoil the surprise.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
The surprise? You have a plan for them?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Course I do, I always have a plan.

[identity profile] justicepuns.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Doc-- [cough] Doctor, what are you doing?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, nothing. [He tossed a Pokeball to himself once or twice with a huge grin.] Nothing at all.

[identity profile] justicepuns.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
It's not very good weather to be doing "nothing" in.
dragonspeak: (They don't sound so bad)

[personal profile] dragonspeak 2010-12-18 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Watching the Doctor curiously]

What are you planning to do with all those pidgeys, Doctor?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's something, of course it's something! It's just a something you don't need to know about yet.

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
What fun would it be if I just told everyone?
dragonspeak: (I've got a plan)

[personal profile] dragonspeak 2010-12-18 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. You're planning something for Christmas?

[identity profile] justicepuns.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
[Just sort of...stares. Oh here comes that sense of dread.]

Does it have something to do wit-- [sneeze!]-- with the festival?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
You go on and figure it out, it'd be wrong of me to just give all the answers.

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
...Festival, what festival? There's going to be a festival?
dragonspeak: (O-of course that's not funny)

[personal profile] dragonspeak 2010-12-18 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
[He mulls this over. While he's curious, the Doctor obviously plans on revealing something later (right?)]

I think I'll wait and see what you're up to. [Laughs]

[identity profile] justicepuns.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Someone told me there's going to be a Christmas festival in Violet.

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Is there? Oh, that's brilliant! I love Christmas, I never get to properly celebrate it.

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
Good choice, I think. Who wouldn't want to be surprised on Christmas, anyway?

...well, aside from me, all my surprises usually end in explosions or the like.

[identity profile] seasalttwilight.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
[He seems a lot more interested now. Plans are good]

Do you have a plan for everything?

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. Thing is, I often only come up with them as I go along, but a plan's a plan.

[identity profile] justicepuns.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know all of the details yet, but I'm sure someone will mention it on the 'gear soon. I just hope it doesn't get snowed out.

[identity profile] usedreturn.livejournal.com 2010-12-18 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well, snow is usually the least of my problems on Christmas.

[Pause.]

...I mean that, I almost never get to just enjoy a nice bit of snow in December. There's always one thing or another getting in my way.
dragonspeak: (Okay--let's just think about this)

[personal profile] dragonspeak 2010-12-18 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't celebrated Christmas before...is surprise a part of the tradition?
