☄ 009; [video/action]

[Normal people might be staying inside in this weather. In fact, it would be wise of them to do so.]

[The Doctor, however, is neither normal nor 'people', strictly speaking. So one might find him just outside Violet today, catching every single Pidgey he happens to see. And doing so with a huge grin on his face.]

[His Abra, looking about as annoyed as an Abra possibly can, pokes his head into the frame as if to ask what in Arceus's name is going on.]

Good choice, I think. Who wouldn't want to be surprised on Christmas, anyway?

...well, aside from me, all my surprises usually end in explosions or the like.
dragonspeak: (Okay--let's just think about this)

I haven't celebrated Christmas before...is surprise a part of the tradition?

Of course it is--you you get all sorts of delightful gifts on Christmas morning, and you never know just what it is until you open it.

...I say 'delightful', but there's always that one person that gets you socks. Never fails.
dragonspeak: (O-of course that's not funny)

I guess being surprised would have its perks.

[Now he grins] Not one for socks, Doctor?

I quite like socks, as a matter of fact. But you can get those anytime, Christmas is supposed to be something special.
dragonspeak: (The brighter side of the coin--obviously)

That seems to be the case. I'll be keeping that in mind while I look for everyone's gifts.

That's certainly good to hear.
