The tenth's gone. [His words were short and strangely clipped compared to the animated rambling he usually greeted Johto with.] Just as well. Things tend to turn out wrong when there's more than one Doctor in one place.

...Jenny as well. I was looking forward to seeing her again--it's been a long time. Too long.

[He paused, took a breath and sighed...then turned to greet the camera with a smile, seemingly back to his usual self.]

Shame, that. But these things happen, don't they? People come and go as they please; there's a good chance our timelines will intersect again sooner or later. That's the thing about time travel, you see all sorts. The universe is a big place, bigger than most can imagine, but I do tend to find the important people when I need them. Or when they need me. Usually the latter.

[Adric jumped off his trainer's lap as the Doctor stood up, floating at his side.]

You see, when a Time Lord dies, they regenerate. New body, new voice, new personality. I've gone through it quite a lot by now--this is my eleventh. Hewasthe previous: hence 'tenth'. It'd be all sorts of confusing if we called each other the same name.

I was a troll. I'm from Alternia but was hiding in a lab on a meteor before I got here.

It's pretty much a dead hunk of rock now. Sgrub pummeled it with meteors and the vast glub killed almost all of the rest of our species.
