[The video comes from a rather low perspective--propped up against a pixelated tree.]

See that? [The Doctor points behind him, at a skeletal Kabutops stalking about.] That, odds are, is what's causing this mess. Not so scary, really. Though I don't know what's keeping it walking. Can't be Vashta Nerada, it's broad daylight.

Well. This is a thing that needs investigating. Can't very well investigate it when it's stalking about with those knives on its arms.

[With that, he lifts a rather large wrench onto his shoulder. Where'd he get a wrench? Better not to ask.]

Now I'm really not one for violence. But no sonic screwdriver, no TARDIS, and Adric's certainly being rubbish to help where he's all boxy. And this whatever-it-is isn't alive, it can't be. This is a thing that by all logic should not be walking around and yet there it is.

So if you'll excuse me.

[Wrench in hand, he followed the skeleton offscreen, chasing it down with a rather loud 'geronimo' folowed by the unmistakable sound of a wrench whacking the hell out of a skeleton.]

[He comes back about ten minutes later, looking markedly more raggedy than usual--and seeing as he was a bit of a mess to start with, that was saying something.]

It ran off. Left this, though. [He held up a bony Kabutops arm, stumbling a bit--it was roughly as tall as he was, having come off a ten-foot skeleton.]

Ah well. At least you have a trophy. You can hang it up if you get a house here. Wow all the pretty girls. Impress the guys. Stuff like that.

_{[Leans to the side slightly, resting her cheek on the knuckles of her hand.]}

You might want to take a rest, 'tho. I don't think people are normally supposed to jump the animals here.

Well, I could hardly just let it run around. All I was looking to do was incapacitate it. Figure out what we're dealing with.

Sometimes you can do that just by watching, Doctor. Besides, I don't think they're the type who'll let you poke and prod at them like you wanna. Missingno, they're like that.

Not really. It all depends on how you're categorizing.

Hmm? This planet? Just one Earth out of many, I suppose. Not very imaginative, I know, but what can you do? _{[She shrugs nonchalantly.]}

Out of--out of many? I cant say there's not technically more than one Earth, but many?

On second thought, forget that, let's focus more on the giant walking skeletons.

Well. No. It swung at me and got stuck in the ground. So it broke itself. Then it got all...square-y and made a new arm.

And then it ran off.

So I kept the arm.

It can make new arms? What kind of pokemon can do that?

That's quite a souvenir.

I'm going to try and analyze it. If I can find the right equipment.

What sort of equipment do you need?

[He walked back onscreen, dragging the detached arm of a giant Kabutops behind him and sitting down to investigate it.]

Did you kill it, or did it just run off?

[He'd be using that arm to beat more of those things to death.]

Ran off. I wasn't going to kill it, that wouldn't do any good.

If these things are causing all of this [gesture to the pixellated world], then wouldn't killing them at least stop anything else from being damaged?

It's possible. But it's just as possible that killing it would leave this damage irreversible. Besides, I'd rather leave it alive...alive-ish...if I can.

Do you have an idea about how to fix things?

Sure I do. I fix a lot of things.
