Well, I do admit, I was rather naive when I was younger. Perhaps it's the whole "raising a child" thing that gets to people.

...Well. I didn't really do much to raise Truce, either. She was a good kid from the start.

I had a daughter once, in the technical sense. Bit morally tangled, but I did what I could.

...I guess Truce might be a bit tangled in the common sense area sometimes, but I've seen worse. If you did what you can, so be it?

But perfect kids are boring. I mean-- I'm sure you've seen some guy named Edgeworth.

We've met, except not quite in the sense I'm guessing you mean. He's rather tiny, in fact.

Oh, good, you know him as a kid? He was in my class when we were little. Stuff happened and he became a twisted guy, too, but he was a really good kid back then.

Quite interesting, really. Then again, quite a lot of the people here are.

I don't really meet enough people so interested in justice and fair treatment.
